For 20+ years, I have been working with executives and visionary leaders in the US and UK to help them reach their goals and run more effective organizations as both a consultant, social entrepreneur, and intrapreneur.
Much of that time has been spent using design thinking methods to identify ways to better leverage data, people, process, and technology, along with Scrum project management, to accelerate impact & outcomes.
Over the last 10+ years, I have been helping grassroots groups, nonprofits, and social enterprises make the world a more just and livable place for all, drawing on experience in both business and community development.
Currently living and working in Nashville, TN, USA.

A Few Noteworthy Past Projects.

Co-Leading a Worker Cooperative in the US
Over 7 years, my partners and I were able to run a worker cooperative focused on helping nonprofits increase the chances of achieving their mission. In the end, we were able to help 30+ nonprofits tackle everything from data management and CRM implementation, to new process and project management techniques, along with innovative marketing and development strategies. It’s heartwarming to see so many of our former partners thriving and growing their impact in their neighborhoods, cities, and beyond.

Running a Philanthropic Supper Club in Lexington, KY
Lexington, like many cities, had trouble getting funding into the hands of the historically marginalized to help them when in need. So, we developed a philanthropic supper club, offering cuisine from around the world. 100% of the proceeds went to support strategic nonprofit partners like CRCKY. In addition to funding, we provided wraparound business support to help funding recipients thrive. The result was thousands of dollars raised in support of closing the equitable funding gap, numerous families being able to stay housed, and nonprofit capacity and skills being developed.

Evaluating a Food Market in Lexington, KY
The primarily Black and Brown residents of North Lexington needed access to healthy food and decent jobs. A local CDC received USDA funding to build out a market to provide healthy food and entrepreneurial opportunities to residents and they needed help evaluating whether it was working or not. As an evaluation co-lead, I was able to help develop the key relationships, metrics, and research approach to evaluate the market, along with empowering local residents to join as paid co-evaluators in the process. Feedback was provided to the CDC to help them evolve their programming based on our work.

Developing New Arts Education Programming in Brooklyn, NY
So many children were falling through the cracks of the public education and foster care system in Brooklyn and we needed to find a way to close the gap. In conjunction with the leadership team, we developed and secured funding for a mobile education program capable of providing services in public housing facilities and parks around the city. The outcome was the ability to reach 3-times as many kids with our arts education programming, while providing wrap around social services for the entire family.

Delivering Marketing Automation at Global Scale
We needed to find a new way to drive revenue for a billion dollar business. So we developed industry leading marketing automation capabilities to identify, engage, and qualify leads for our sales team at global scale. As day-to-day project lead, I was responsible for overseeing the project team, budget, business need, and technical delivery of a multi-year, multi-million dollar effort that fundamentally changed how we drove revenue and gave us the data and tools to optimize our efforts each and every day.
A Little Insight.
